About Us
Shamrock Recreation Club is a privately owned family oriented summer recreation club in Watkinsville, Georgia. Facilities include 2 junior Olympic sized pools, a wading pool, 2 tennis courts/volleyball courts, ball field, play area, covered picnic area with gas grill, and patio with tables and chairs. This club is owner-operated by Gene and Kay Shepard, long time residents of Oconee County, GA.

Membership
Membership is available only as openings occur. A waiting list is maintained by the owners based on references from current members. There is an initial membership fee, which is refundable if membership is not renewed the second year. For 2012 the initial fee has been reduced to $250. Yearly dues are based on the number in each family and the operating expenses for the year. A family of two or three for 2012 is $365. Each additional family member is an additional $10. Swim Lessons
Swimming lessons will be held June 18-29 and are offered by Sandy Bishop. To sign up for lessons you may contact her at 1 (706) 769-7113 or bishopmarilyn@hotmail.com. Cost of lessons is $70.00 per child and $5.00 less for each additional child for members and $75.00 for non-members.
Swim Team
Shamrock Seals Swim Team, the 2011 Oconee County Champions, will begin practice on May 14.
Swim team continues to be a fun and rewarding way for many families to spend the first 6 weeks of summer vacation! Swim team is for ages 5-18. The cost is $105 for the first child, $95 for each additional child.
The team will have their annual preseason Team Registration in the large conference room at Veteran’s Park on Sunday, March 18 from 2:00-3:30 (drop in).
